8/8/11 – I attended the district-sponsored training from the law firm of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud and Romo for supervisors in FRISK that is billed as “A Performance Feedback Model and Practical Guidelines in Addressing Unsatisfactory Employee Performance”.

8/9/11 – I attended the district training for supervisors in the new Teacher Performance Assessment/Evaluation system.

8/10/11 – I attended a meeting at the DO about an involuntarily transferred teacher and other contract issues with Greig Welch, Ruben Canales, Marcia Murphy and Rick Oyler.

8/11/11 – I attended a meeting of the Tri-County Education Coalition (TCEC) in Santa Ynez to discuss planning for this year’s activities including truancy, common core standards and new assessments as well as the state budget issues.

8/14/11 – I prepared the draft Level 3 appeal of the involuntary transfer and reassignments grievance.

8/15/11 – I met with two teachers about the involuntary transfer and reassignment grievance.

8/16/11 – I prepared handouts and information for the 8/17 PRPE Executive Board/Site Reps/Negotiations Team meeting and the general membership meeting.

8/17/11 – I attended the PRPE Executive Board/Site Reps/Negotiations Team meeting and the general membership meeting.  I consulted with PRPE Treasurer Robert Skinner about the 2011-2012 PRPE Budget and other organizational financial matters.

8/22/11 – I met with Greig Welch to both sign the Arnette MOU and the inadvertent  deletion of Article 8 Section G (from the 2006-2008 contract) in the  and its restoration in the current contract.  We discussed the Level 1 Susan Silva-Lewis retaliation grievance.

8/30/11 – Robert Skinner, Lisa Tate and I met with Greig Welch and Ruben Cananles about the Level 3 Appeal on Involuntary Transfers and Ressigments.
